Can you finish Shithead on a magic card?
Verdict: in the official rules, yes. Any card can be your last, and going out on a burn is considered stylish. A sizeable minority of tables rule that your final card must be an honest one, and that ending on a 2, 8 or 10 means picking up the pile.
The case for the restriction
It stops players banking a 2 as a guaranteed exit, and it produces exquisite agony when someone's last blind card turns out to be a ten.
Our ruling
Any card finishes. The endgame is cruel enough without inventing new paperwork. "No finishing on magic" is a house rule.
